Type of Incentive:
The goal of the Mandela Rhodes Scholarships Programme is to offer educational opportunities to all African citizens with scholastic, intellectual and leadership potential to study at suitable tertiary institutions in South Africa.

Full Scholarships are offered to scholars-elect, who are then registered at suitable universities within South Africa. Scholarships are for Honours or Masters Degrees (or equivalent) in any field.

3. The scholarship recipient will be required to base some of his/her assignments throughout the course of study at GBCM on an ethics-related topic (these will be agreed with the Dean and where appropriate a Thesis Supervisor).
4. Preference will be given to those students who have shown outstanding academic achievement in high school or in their college programme to date.

Special Requirements:
All work must be the original work of the scholarship applicant.

The Velcourt Scholarship is open to all Agriculture 2nd Year BSc students and first Year HND students who are interested interested in a career with Velcourt as a farm manager. The successful scholar will receive a payment of 2,000 per annum for the 2nd and 4th year of a BSc course or for the first and final academic year of a HND program.
