Its not that African's are not smart, its not that we can't think, its not that we don't know what we want, and neither is that we are helpless.
African problems will ultimately be solved by Africans. However, to start solving our problems, we need to know what our problems are; or at least agree on the most important ones. I will attempt to get this conversation started about the motherland.
Here are some of my thoughts...
1. Food
2. Basic amenities - water, clothing, shelter
3. Rule of law
4. Basic infrastructure: roads, power (light) etc
5. Political instability
I'm persuaded that if we can solve these 5 things we will have solved 70% of the problems African faces.
